People tend to look for ways to spruce up their homes, mostly during the changing of seasons or holidays. There are many easy ways to accomplish this.
- Get new lampshades or recover your current shades with new fabric.
- Add mirrors to create the illusion of space.
- Rearrange furniture in new positions away from the wall or in more inviting angles.
- A new area rug can change the feel of a room and add emphasis to the center of the room.
- Limit decorative accent pieces and keep clutter to a minimum to make the room appear larger.
- Consider one large piece of artwork instead of many small pieces on the wall.
