In this cost-conscious economy we are all cutting back on luxuries. But fortunately homeowners don't have to sacrifice freshening-up their home’s interior. The smallest changes can make the biggest difference.
· Update the matting and frames on your artwork. Using a new matting color can change the focus of the piece.
· Pull a new color from your room into slipcovers, rugs, and throw pillows.
· Pick a wall and add a tight group of your favorite pictures. Use the new color from your room for the matting on the pictures and vary the frame width and sizes.
· Make your own pillows using fabric found at bargain stores. It is surprisingly easy.
· Repaint one wall in the room to change the color scheme.
