Spring Cleaning in Sandy Springs

The weather is warming up and the days are getting longer.  The Dogwood trees are blossoming all along Roswell Road in lovely Sandy Springs, GA.

I’m really excited about the upcoming transformation in weather.  Spring brings about changes and freshening up.  I already have my kids beginning their spring cleaning.

My youngest gets the hand me downs, so he has a ton of clothes that he doesn’t wear.  My oldest don’t have nearly as many clothes, so he gets holes in them from overuse.

If you have a new teenager and an upcoming preteen that’s sharing a room, like me, then you know all about a messy kid’s room.  They can take less than an hour to make it look like World War III erupted.  Clothes all on the desk and in the chairs, dog toys scattered on the floor, and tooth paste in the sink.  Don’t get me started.

Ok, I’m ranting.  The moral of the story is that they are cleaning their mess.   Maybe you should do that too.  Cleaning out old clothes, toys and what-nots can really be refreshing and give you a renewed sense of newness.

Don’t forget that with more sunlight will also require a change in the décor in your home.  Changing the color style and decorating it for the season will make you and your visitors feel more comfortable in your home.

Grooming the yard and having an attractive curb appeal makes your home more inviting and those midday Bar-B-Qs more enjoyable with your family.

If anything, go outside and enjoy the weather.
