"Mr. Russ has been a very involved parent in our school. He is a member of the PTA Executive Board and sits on our Local School Advisory Council/ Governing Board. As Vice President of Student Enrichment he took the lead on our Reflections Program which had low participation in previous years. He worked to develop a plan for increasing participation. His plan was well-organized and thorough. He covered all aspects of this program and saw it through from beginning to end.

Our program grew tremendously this year and I believe that it was due in large part to the excellent organization and handling of the program by Mr. Russ.

 He was also instrumental in helping to develop our Cultural Arts Program for the year. He worked with key staff members to identify and schedule programs that our children would find exciting and engaging.

 As a member of our Governance Board, Mr. Russ provides honest and insightful feedback with a positive attitude and a focus on school improvement. He has been a wonderful asset to me as principal and to our school. Mr. Russ is articulate, intelligent and very professional.
